The site is located in Pittsburgh at an abandoned factory site called The Carrie Furnace. “Innovation in steel construction” was the goal. Pairing a steel truss bridge with a grid shell structure in one building celebrates the old and new steel technologies and the steel industry in Pittsburgh.
